This Privacy Policy describes how Dr. Khalid Aletaibi ("the Practice", "I", "me", "my") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you use this website (khalidaletaibi.com). This policy is aligned with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and applicable international standards.
1. Information I collect
When you submit the contact form, I collect the following: your name, email address, phone number, preferred consultation date and time, service of interest, and any message you include. I also collect basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and pages visited through privacy-respecting analytics. I do not collect or store sensitive health information through this website.
2. How I use your information
Your contact information is used solely to respond to your consultation request, schedule appointments, and communicate about your dental care. Technical analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the website experience. I will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to patient contact data is restricted to me and authorized administrative staff. Row-level security policies ensure your data is not publicly accessible.
4. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted unless an ongoing patient relationship exists. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting me directly.
5. Your rights
Under UAE data protection law, you have the right to: access the personal data I hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent for data processing, and file a complaint with the UAE Data Office. 6. Third-party services
This website uses the following third-party services: Supabase for database and authentication, Resend for transactional email notifications, and Vercel for hosting. Each provider maintains its own privacy policy and operates under appropriate data protection agreements. No personal data is shared with advertising networks.
7. International visitors
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area (EEA), your data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your inquiry) and consent (submitting the contact form). The same rights outlined in Section 5 apply to you under the GDPR.
8. Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
